Kolkata Metro Railway Recruitment 2016 – Trade Apprentice Posts: Metro Railway, Kolkata has
released notification for the recruitment of Trade Apprentice vacancies for the year 2016-17. Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format on or before 18-03-2016 by 16:00 hrs. Name of the Designated Trade:
1. Fitter: 10 Posts
2. Electrician: 03 Posts
3. Welder (G + R): 01 Post
4. Machinist: 01 Post
5. Plumber: 01 Post

Total No. of Posts: 16

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 15-22 years as on 01-02-2016. Age relaxation is applicable 5 years for SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PH candidates as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th Class in 10+2 examination ystem) with minimum 50% on average & ITI certificate from any institute affiliated to NCVT in relevant trade.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format along with all copies of all relevant certificates attested by gazetted officer, two self addressed envelops (10″x5″), one signed recent passport size photograph by post to the Senior Personal Officer/ IC, Metro Rail Bhavan, 33/ 1, J.L, Nehru Road, Kolkata-700071 or drop in the Box kept in P.R.O Section, Metro Rail Bhavan, 33/ 1, J.L, Nehru Road, Kolkata-700071 on or before 18-03-2016 by 16:00 hrs. Superscribe the envelope as “Application for training under Apprenticeship Act”.

Last Date for Submission of Application: 18-03-2016 by 16:00 hrs.
