Assistant Professor/ Scientist
01. Master Degree in relevant subject of Agriculture/Agricultural EngineeringNeterinary faculty with
at least 55% marks (or its equivalent grade 6.50 in 10.00 scales) with good academic record.
02. For the candidates having Master's degree, NET (National Eligibility Test) shall remain compulsory alongwith one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated referred journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted. Essentiality of NET can be waved off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been ~one with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has at least two full-length publications having a NASS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application.
Candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption ..\.
For Basic Science (Serial No. 13 to 14)
01. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
02. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLETISET.
03. Notwithstanding anything contained in clauses (01) and (02) candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NETISLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in UniversitieS/Colleges/Institutions.
For Basic EngineeringlTechnology (Serial No. 15 to 18)
BE/BTech & ME/MTech in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in BElB.Tech or E/M.Tech.
Assistant Librarian
Essential
01. A Master's Degree in Library Sciencelinformation Sciencel Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
02. Qualified in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
03. However, candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the 'University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. degree). Regulations 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of University Assistant Librarianl College Librarian.
Technical Assistant
Essential
Master's degree in relevant subjects of Agriculture with at least 55% marks or 2.75/4;00 OCGA or 6.50/1 0.00 OGPA from any recognized University. .
Note:- Good academic record indicates a candidate applying for respective post shall have (i) Second
Class Master's Degree (55% and above). (ii) Second Class Bachelor Degree (55% and above). (iii) No
third Division in entire career from Higher Secondary and onwards.
