a. Commencement of Online application for GATE-2014: 02.09.2013 (Monday)
b. Last date of online application for GATE-2014: 01.10.2013 (Tuesday)
c. Commencement of Online Registration of application by candidates in NTPC 20.12.2013 (Friday) 1300 Hours
d. Last date for online registration of application by candidates in NTPC 18.01.2014 (Saturday) Midnight
Qualification : Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks, taking average of all the Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular year by the
Institute/University. Final year/semester students are also eligible however they have to obtain at
least 65% marks in their engineering degree.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2014.
Based on the GATE-2014 MARKS and requirement, candidates will be short listed for Group
Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks in GD &
Interview, before being considered in the merit list.

01 For detailed information on GATE-2014, interested candidates may log on to www.gate.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014 or on the websites of other IITs and Indian Institute of Science
(IISc), Bangalore.
02 Candidates need to apply Online for GATE as per the information provided on the websites.
They should wait for the admit card to get the GATE registration number
